Gurig Nature Experience - Gurig Nature Experience can offer a variety of tours and activities to the visitors of Cobourg Peninsula due to the two distinctly different operating locations within the Gurig National Park. The Cobourg Beach Huts are situated at Smith Point, one of the most northerly extremities of the Park, surrounded by white sandy beaches and at the mouth of Port Essington, an ideal harbour for boating activities. Cape Don is situated on the most westerly point of the Park giving access to sandy islands, shallow bays ideal for sea turtle and dugong spotting and a spectacular mangrove lined creek noted for its 64 species of living coral in only metres of clear, calm water. Whatever the wildlife interests, Gurig Nature Experience can arrange tailor made packages to suit different client needs.
