Unlike many other companies, we specialize in small group, tailor made adventures. The very nature of an Outland Expedition lends itself to small groups. Encountering places of uncommon beauty, the experience is enhanced with a small number of like-minded individuals. If you have a small group of friends, work colleagues, family or just mates looking for an adventure – we can offer half day, full day or multi-day excursions. Trust and confidence in your guide are essential. All our leaders are not only professionals with experience and accredited guide training; they are friendly and sensitive instructors. Your safety and enjoyment are their priorities. Whether helping you make that first abseil or guiding you down a raging white water. All our gear is of the highest quality and just about everything is provided - tents, wetsuits and helmets - all you need to bring is your sense of adventure. Gear lists suggesting what you should wear are included in the trip notes sent to you when you book. These trip notes also contain extensive details on the itineraries, meeting points and other information to help you prepare for your expedition. The gear we provide you is your lifeline, so we use only the best. We use and recommend, Bluewater and Edelrid ropes, Petzl technical equipment, HB carabineers, Suunto and Silva compasses, Motorola Two-Way radios and KTi EPIRBs. The majority of our trips are designed for people with none or lots of outdoor experience - just a desire for fun and adventure. On local trips, most of our clients meet at the cliff or track (café or hotel). However, if you require transport, just phone the office and we can easily arrange a lift for you. These can include, luxury or budget accommodation, camping, restaurant bookings, party locations and additional transport such as helicopter, convertible cars, train or mini bus pick-up. Pre - Adventure: Prior to every trip - we send out an equipment list of what to bring, wear and any pre-training if required.
