Within the Great Sandy Region, Sunrover's Fraser Island Safari is the most extensive on the island. A wide ranging permit allows access to wilderness areas, rainforest and lakes, where few go. As well as it's extensive 5 day camping safari, Sunrover also offer a 3 day tour with accommodation at the award-winning Kingfisher Bay Eco-Wilderness Lodge. Sunrover also offer the widest ranging Whale Watching Safaris in Queesland, and have been doing so for the past five years. These Safaris include a Day Tour to Cape Moreton - the viewing panorama on Moreton Island, and a Three Day National Park Explorer, where whales are assured to Safaris taking in Fraser Island, Hervey Bay and Lady Elliot Island. The Humpback Season Commences early June with the first four pods appearing below Cape Moreton on 2nd June for two seasons running - the searching was over for another year - the watching has begun - a magnificent experience. Trek around Stradbroke Island, visits historical Dunwich and Amity Point, as well as a hike around Point Lookout with it's panoramic views. Blue Lake, Brown Lake, Flinders Beach and Adder Rock are also explored by 4WD, as well as the Keyhole Lakes outdoor aviary. Sunrover offers a day tour to Stradbroke Island, as well as a 3 day package with accommodation. The Carnarvon Gorge Outback Safari provide access to a rich paradise of native fauna including platypus, magical scenery with walks and hikes and unique Aboriginal Stencil Art with extensive world renowned sketches found at Cathedral Cave. Sunrover offers a luxury camping experience within National Park Wilderness Environments. The safaris highlight the environment while taking extra care to provide clients with a holiday. The maximum group size is 20 passengers (although most tours are much smaller), which allows for special attention and active discovery. All Safaris are fully escorted by licensed operators and professional guide, and departs Brisbane Transit Centre, weekly.
