There are two main caving areas in Tasmania, Mole Creek in the north and Mount Anne in the centre. The two places are very different, with the caves at Mole Creek set among gently rolling hills on the edge of bushland while those at Mount Anne occupy a jagged and exposed ridge-top near the northern perimeter of Southwest National Park.
