Sydney Hang Gliding Centre - Established in 1982, (formerly Aerial Technics) is Sydney's first and only full-time Hang Gliding Centre and more people have chosen to fly with us for several reasons. We have a perfect safety record, specialise in Hang Gliding and are available to take you flying everyday, weather permitting. The Sydney Hang Gliding Centre developed and introduced the dual flight 'Tandem Training Program' which is similar to the training in a conventional aircraft. The tandem program is used extensively in our licence course allowing you to get a better feel for the air and accelerate the learning process, whilst in the comfort zone of your instructor. We offer you safe, personal instruction and an exhilarating, memorable flying experience. We use the most modern and latest glider designs available and this is a trademark of our business. We are the only Centre located at Bald Hill, Stanwell Park allowing us to instantly access the conditions to maximise the opportunity for you to fly. The two locations we fly tandem from are the world famous 'Bald Hill' Stanwell Park and 'Hill 60' near Port Kembla. The sites are from one extreme to the other. With 'Bald Hill' a spectacular take-off area on the edge of the Royal National Park, where the mountains meet the sea and 'Hill 60' a small 200' site overlooking the steelworks. Needless to say which site we recommend and prefer to fly.
