Leconfield Mountain Cattle Drives at Australia Adventures

Leconfield Mountain Cattle Drives - Come ride with us in the magnificent New England Ranges, from the soaring mountain peaks through to the clear mountain streams and down into the valleys. Mountain Cattle Drives is exceeded by none in natural beauty and an abundance of wildlife surrounding the camp on the banks of the Mulla Creek. Mountain Cattle Drives your outback adventure is situated near Tamworth, easily accessible by car, train, plane or bus. We will show you what it is like to step back 100 years where time moved as fast as a drovers mob of cattle and the news was a chat around the campfire at night. Mustering cattle out of the mountain ranges whilst learning and appreciating the technique of natural horsemanship, drafting them into the stock camps on horseback. As darkness falls gather around the campfire and tuck into a hearty campfire meal prepared by the cook. By the end of the muster you will be riding like a true Aussie Stockman. We work from a base camp, complete with hot showers.
