Nature Trails - Specialises in small nature focused trips to some of Australia’s best destinations. We do extended tours led by high profile naturalists not only looking at nature but also the history, culture, food, wine and meeting those local characters which make travelling so fascinating. Our group sizes are limited to 17 passengers travelling in a luxury mini coach and the tour vary between 7 and 15 days. At Nature Trails, we believe that ‘Travel should take you further than just a destination’. Travel should be a rewarding, stimulating and inspiring experience that allows for a broadening of knowledge, experience and understanding while being a whole lot of fun! Travel allows a perfect opportunity to excite your mind, your senses and your enthusiasm while giving travellers a well-earned break from their normal lives and responsibilities. To best achieve these goals, Nature Trails concentrates on operating only small group departures with a maximum of 17 travellers. We find that this is a number which allows for interaction with other travellers, while retaining the sense that we are getting up close and personal with an area, rather than passing through on a large bus. Our trips are fully guided by passionate leaders with a thorough understanding and appreciation of the region in which they are travelling. Professional guides and naturalists themselves, they are there with a dual role: to ensure the smooth running of the trip and satisfaction of the travellers, while at the same time providing a depth of knowledge and experience that will stimulate an interest in the region. Our guides are encouraged to excite travellers about the history, culture, wildlife, natural history, food and local characters to be found - and anything else that makes an area unique or of interest. Behind the scenes, a good trip is all about the preparation that has gone into it. That includes everything from choosing the best guides, to understanding the travellers and what they are hoping for from the trip. We work closely with travellers or tour providers to realise and exceed their expectations. Much of this is done through at attempt clear, transparent and prompt communication at all times.
