Sealife Experience - Our unique tour gives you the opportunity to experience Tasmania's exuberant marine mammals, Fur Seals and Dolphins, up close and personal. We take you to the Hippolyte Rocks, a seal haul out, so you can enjoy these amazing creatures in their natural environment. Watch as seabirds, including Albatross and White Bellied Sea Eagles, work the waters of Pirates Bay and the Tasman Ocean. Fairy Penguins, Shearwaters and the endangered Tasmanian Wedge Tailed Eagle make their homes amongst the spectacular dolerite and sedimentary cliffs, which form the Tasman Peninsula. From sea level, take in the dramatic sea cliffs, which are among the highest and visually stunning in Australia. Thousands of years of wave action has altered the mostly sandstone cliffs, creating several amazing geological formations. Sealife Experience will take you to The Blowhole, Tasman Arch and The Devils Kitchen. We cruise right into Waterfall Bay, where water plummets from the top of the 200m high cliffs into the ocean. We have a breather half way through your Sealife Experience in Fortescue Bay, part of The Tasman National Park. The bay itself is a sight to behold, with its calm waters, a half sunken shipwreck and gum trees right to the water’s edge. This location presents many opportunities for the avid photographer and birdwatcher alike.
